1864 $1 The Bank of Pontiac note from Pontiac, Michigan. 

This bank operated from 1835 until it failed in the 1840's. It was revived in the 1860's and finally merged into the First National Bank of Pontiac. 

This note features a Vignette of an Indian Brave holding a bow at the top left. On the right is a farmer with an early harvesting tool. A Vignette of a stag jumping is printed between the signature lines.

This note grades Very Fine with minor ink burn and a tiny tear on the top edge.
